The Internet Picture Dictionary lets you learn simple vocabulary by matching pictures with words and offers exercises to practice them.

Vocabulary
You can play a match game, hangman, do a word search, or a quiz to learn new words. Subjects include animals, food, kitchen, transportation, vegetables, and musical instruments. There are easy, medium and hard levels.

Life Skills Vocabulary Practice
The website has six modules. These include body/healthcare; places; action verbs; fruits and vegetables; prepositions of place; and weather and season.

English Zone
This site has many different links for reading, spelling, vocabulary, writing, grammar, pronunciation, idioms, verbs, basic skills, and fun. ABE, ESL, and GED students will find sites to use to improve their skills.
