Training
The program provides eighteen hours of pre-service Tutor Training
in Basic Reading or English as a Second Language for volunteers.
These sessions are usually held at the Adult Learning and Technology
Center in Waukegan or at the College of Lake County in Grayslake.
Tutors are encouraged to attend additional workshops that are
offered on an occasional basis.

use these websites and let us know if you find something we should
add to the list. Refer to Current
Tutors/Internet Resources in the Main Menu above. We have
also added a section for student information that contains helpful
Internet resources for students to use. Please be sure to check
out the Student Information
